The Gordon Parks Arts Hall at the University of Chicago seamlessly integrates performance halls, studios, and rehearsal spaces that embody a hands-on approach to arts education. The surrounding entry plaza and resilient landscape are programmed for exterior classrooms and integrates a rain garden, biodiverse, native tree groves, and landform play that redirects stormwater. The entry plaza features linear benches that extend into the landscape, providing seating with restorative views of the gardens.
