The jetty is reimagined to reflect the local history and character, while establishing the essential infrastructure needed to support the area’s vibrant tourism. This phased, multi-year initiative will enhance three distinct areas: the Cut Walk Jetty at the northern edge of the village, which will be upgraded with improved access and amenities; the integration of 96 Street with surrounding streetscapes to facilitate easier pedestrian access to the beach; and the creation of a unique streetscape identity along Collins Avenue, which will transform the existing Herman Fultz Parking Area into a safer and more aesthetically pleasing multi-modal transit hub.
