As part of the redevelopment goals for Hemisfair Park, the master plan establishes a set of guidelines that build upon the park’s rich history of civic art and architecture. This vision aims to create an international destination for art and cultural programming while preserving significant historical artworks from the former World’s Fair held on this site. By offering a variety of opportunities for both permanent and performance art, the master plan promotes the legacy of innovation and global exchange that inspired the creation of this World’s Fair Park landscape.  Situated next to the convention center, the plan integrates pedestrian focused circulation and gathering spaces for outdoor programming.
