Levinson Plaza
Boston, MA
Boston, MA
Envisioned as an urban grove, Levinson Plaza serves as a central gathering space for a diverse community within a mixed-income residential development. The design accommodates a variety of multicultural and intergenerational activities, offering areas for recreation and meaningful connections to both the community and public transportation. Paving patterns and seating link gathering and passage areas, adding a human scale to the plaza. A rich native and biodiverse plant palette creates distinct garden rooms where activities such as tai chi, children’s play, and contemplative seating can coexist harmoniously.
