Boston University commissioned the design of the new Booth Theater and Arts Plaza to revitalize the theater arts on campus. This contemporary performance complex features both indoor and outdoor spaces, serving as a versatile platform for seasonal events. The stepped landscape thoughtfully responds to the grade change, with amphitheater seating and gathering spaces along Commonwealth Avenue. Custom planters and wooden seating enhance the streetscape and support flexible programming, and a newly integrated bike path complements the road realignment, promoting accessibility and connectivity.
