Designed with evidence-based design principles, the interior landscape gardens are easily accessible to patients, families, and staff throughout the seasons.
These interior gardens incorporate biophilic design concepts that support the recovery of pediatric patients and their families.
Located within the heart of the Longwood Medical District in Boston, our work included a new identity for the signage and entry drop off.
The design is guided by principles of stress reduction and restoration, aiming to reduce patient stays, enhance community, and support staff productivity. Overall, the plan brings the natural world closer to the hospital experience, supporting emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being for all.
